As of May 2010, Delta Instruments’ SomaScope Smart has received approval for sale in the United States of America. This approval has been given by the Lab Committee of the National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments (NCIMS), after a series of tests that were conducted in the presence of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Delta Instruments has presented this year, at the IDF/ISO analytical week in Montreal, the results of a pilot experiment for the differentiation between lard and butterfat in milk.
